Hybrid Schools Celebrate International Mother Language Day 02/21/2023

On February 21st, AGBU AVC students from various hybrid schools and partnering educational institutions celebrated International Mother Language Day by honoring the Armenian language through reciting the Alphabet Prayer, a poem that pays tribute to the 36 letters of the Armenian alphabet.

 

As usual, AGBU AVC is proud to bring young Armenians from around the world together by initiating such networking campaigns aimed at preserving and promoting the Armenian culture and heritage.

 

The video features students from Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School in Beirut, Lebanon, Siamanto Academy in the USA, AGBU Alex Manoogian School in Montreal, Canada, Markarian-Papazian School in Lyon, France, AGBU Artaki Kalpakian School in Athens, Greece, Sunday School adjacent to St. Hovhannes Mkrtich church of the Armenian Apostolic Church’s Krasnodar and North Caucasus Diocese in Maykop, Russia, AGBU Lazar Najarian-Calouste Gulbenkian School in Aleppo, Syria, "Moonq" TechnoSchool in Stepanakert, Artsakh, and Yerevan Basic School N71 After Nelson Stepanyan in Armenia.
